Peter and Ria Wehrli

Peter and Ria Wehrli emigrated to Canada more then 14 years ago, where they built and lead a christian conference hotel for managers together with another Swiss couple in the midst of nowhere in the Canadian west. They found a spiritual home in the Lake City Christian Center in Williams Lake BC, Canada. 1996 they were called into the leadershipteam and commissioned as fulltime coworkers in 1998. 2002 they were ordained by CFCM (Canadian Fellowship of Churches and Ministries) and affiliated with the fellowship, consisting of about 300 churches and ministries.

2003 the Lord spoke to them and showed them His plan to build a new church in their homeland Switzerland. The gifts of the Holy Ghost and the training of hungry christians will be key to reach Switzerland and Europe with the Gospel and to bring forth and finance the kindom of God. Since the middle of the year 2003 they both repatriated, found a great house in Hagenbuch ZH, and settled in. The English words mixed in with the Swissgerman conversation become less and less, the longer they are here.

Peter's strength lie in human relations, and so he succeeded in building up a network of relationships in almost no time. The church is not to stand isolated but embedded into the landscape of churches in Winterthur and Switzerland. Ria's heart is with the children, youth, and families. She will assure that their spiritual needs are met and that they will serve the Lord with joy. In church work she will fully support Peter in all aspects and stand on his side.

Since mid of 2004 we have rooms in Winterthur. Now their main attantion is on developing faithful coworkers that will help to fulfill GOD's given Vision for the church. The support given by their home church LCCC in Canada is fascinating, finding its expression in timely visits, prayer, ongoing contact through email and telephone. The spiritual covenant in this apostolic network is one of the pillars and power sources for the work in Switzerland and Europe.
